Wir betrachten zuerst die Wurzel 16 . Nachdem 16=44=42 ist, ist 16=42=4  und der Ausdruck ist also

16+16=16+4=20. 

Um zu testen ob 20  vereinfacht werden kann, teilen wir 20 in seine Primfaktoren auf

20=210=225=225

Wir sehen hier dass 20 den Faktor 22, und wir können die Wurzel also weiter vereinfachen,

20=225=25.
