Comments

(We only remark on a fault the first time it occurs.)

  1. All displayed math formulas should be indented.
  2. Don't write feedback to your teacher in the solution. Use, instead, the comment box when submitting the solution.
  3. This can probably be written as one step if you explain the simplifications you make. (There is also a small lapsus in one of the equations; 2² should be 3².)
  4. A fraction in an exponent should be written in slashed form, i.e. \displaystyle 3^{2/x}.
  5. Not only is \displaystyle x not 0, but it also needs to be a positive integer in order for \displaystyle \sqrt[\scriptstyle x]{3^2} to be defined and equal to \displaystyle 3^{2/x}.
  6. Start the sentence with a capital letter.
  7. Don't use the abbreviation LHS and RHS.
  8. End the sentence with a full stop after the equation.
