Nachdem die rechte Seite der Gleichung eine Konstante ist, ist dies eine einfache trigonometrische Gleichungder Form cosx=a.

Natürlich ist eine Lösung x=6. Durch den Einheitskreis sehen wir, dass x=2−6=116 eine zweite Lösung ist.

Wir erhalten die allgemeine Lösung, indem wir ein Vielfaches von 2 addieren:

x=6+2nandx=611+2n
