(We only remark on a fault the first time it occurs.)
- All displayed math formulas should be indented.
- Write the math formula inside a <math> tag.
- Commands start with a backslash (\) in TeX. Therefore, write \tan and not tan. Arguments to trigonometric functions should be written without parentheses, i.e. \tan x and not \tan(x).
- Don't hack your own symbols. Use \displaystyle \Leftrightarrow (\Leftrightarrow in TeX).
- This line is too long. Break it into two lines (and add som explanatory text between the lines).
- If you cancel \displaystyle \sin^2x you must assume that \displaystyle \sin x\not=0, because you might otherwise lose solutions. Make sure you state this important assumption (and don't forget to treat the special case \displaystyle \sin x=0 later on).
- Where did the right-hand side go? Also, end the sentence with a full stop after the equation.
