Comments
(We only remark on a fault the first time it occurs.)
- All displayed math formulas should be indented.
- Don't write feedback to your teacher in the solution. Use, instead, the comment box when submitting the solution.
- This can probably be written as one step if you explain the simplifications you make. (There is also a small lapsus in one of the equations; 2² should be 3².)
- A fraction in an exponent should be written in slashed form, i.e. \displaystyle 3^{2/x}.
- Not only is \displaystyle x not 0, but it also needs to be a positive integer in order for \displaystyle \sqrt[\scriptstyle x]{3^2} to be defined and equal to \displaystyle 3^{2/x}.
- Start the sentence with a capital letter.
- Don't use the abbreviation LHS and RHS.
- End the sentence with a full stop after the equation.
