Comments

(We only remark on a fault the first time it occurs.)

  1. All displayed math formulas should be indented.
  2. A numeric fractions like ½ should be written as a small fraction \displaystyle \textstyle\frac{1}{2} and not as large fraction \displaystyle \frac{1}{2}.
  3. Remove redundant multiplication sign.
  4. It is a mathematical error to write \displaystyle \cos x^2 when you really mean \displaystyle \cos^2x.
  5. Remove the initial "---". It is probably used to emphasize the text and separate it from the maths, but if you indent the displayed equations this is not needed.
  6. Remove redundant parentheses.
  7. Remove redundant colon.
  8. End the sentence with a full stop after the displyed equation.
